Once a member reaches the set amount of posts, they are granted Regular Member status and gain increased access to some forums that are more sensitive than the forums that are visible to guests and registered members. Regular Member access includes the following forums in addition to those listed above: Stormy Days Running the Race The Mercy Place Point of Grace The Chill Zone Role Playing
In addition to the increased access, regular members are also able to view profiles of the other forum members, and view the Who’s Online page. Access to more private forums can be granted by request if a member meets the requirements to access them. Members can ask for access to private forums by posting in the Need Help? Ask the Staff forum. (Information on the private forums at CS can be found on the Private Forums description page.)
Members must maintain a level of activity in the private forums, and on the forum as a whole, to retain their status as a Regular member. If an individual has not posted on the forum in 2 months time, they will be reduced back to registered member access and will have to re-qualify for regular member status. They will also lose access to any private forums that they previously had. In order to regain their access to these, a member whose access has been reduced back to registered status will have to post consistently for the required periods of time. Any member that does not post in the private forums for a period of 2 months, even if they are posting regularly on the open forum, will lose access to those private forums. It is important that members remain active. It is not fair to newer members that have gained access to the private forums for inactive members, that they do not know, to be able to access and read their posts in private forums. |
