Heres where we get to update you on anything going on on the forum, or website, or even on the WWW or world in general! ... Keep in touch with the staff, and vital info!! Please read new threads in this forum to keep up to date with with what is happening at CS!
The Lounge :
This folder is the most multi-purpose folder in the forum! Use it for anything that
doesn't fit specifically elsewhere *smile*
We tend to just hang out here, chat, and get to know one another!
Introducing Myself :
When you first begin to visit our forum, we'd appreciate it if you'd post a short introduction of yourself, so that we can begin to get to know you!
Make it as long or short as you like .. with as much detail as you are comfortable with.
Resources :
This is the area of the forum where we provide resources such as helpline contacts, websites, & relevant articles. There are two forums in this area, one which is upkept by staff, and is a 'no posting' zone - to make it easy to find the information you are looking for.
The second forum is an open forum, where members can submit helpful resources they have found themselves! If you post resources from an outside source, please ensure that you post copyright details!!
The Public Trigger Forums :
Please note, the public trigger forums are presented as three seperate forums, but will be used in a stepping stone manner - moving threads from one to the other if the content becomes more triggering during the course of a discussion!!
Cloudy Days :
This is our 'first line' trigger forum! If you're having a bad day and just need to talk; or if you're struggling with particular issues which you would like feedback on .. here's the place!
Rainy Days :
This is our 'second line' trigger forum! Please use this forum to discuss specific abuse issues, when little detail is required, hence the threads are less likely to trigger other members.
Stormy Days :
This forum is the public forum for the more graphic and detailed discussions about abuse and its effects. Please practice self care when reading here, as content can be very graphic at times.
Running The Race :
This is the forum where we actively work on the types of issues which many survivors fight against! It is a place to define issues, & to look within ourselves and run the race that has been set before us!
Creativity Corner :
Survivors are an incredibly talented group of people. This is an area where we can share our creations, and those of others which have helped us on our way! Poetry, songs, art, or writings. You name it - Anything creative goes here!!
Signature and HTML help :
We have several talented people on the forum able to help create and upload graphical or text signatures for use within CS forums.
We strongly believe that being able to have some individuality on the boards helps us to get to know one another, and gives us a sense of being valued and worthwhile. So .. if you'd like a sig, just ask!!
Fundraising :
This forum holds all the information neccessary for those members wishing to support christian survivors, both financially, & in other, practical ways. We do not charge for membership, as we want everyone to be able to be involved here, but please be aware that we have no outside funding, and many the staff here work the equivalent of full time jobs on the forum, as well as their 'real life' jobs!
Ask The Staff :
This folder is for asking all your questions about the boards, the website, the staff, and anything else youre confused about! You are welcome to air your queries here, and we will try our best to come up with the right answers!!! You can also put in your requests for access to more forums here.
Member Concerns and Resolution Place :
This is a special area for members to raise any private concerns about the forum, or any of its members; and where conflicts can be talked through and resolved. It is set up so that members can post a thread, which only they, & the forum mods, will be able to see - thus creating a place of complete privacy. It is staffed by the admin and the senior staff.
Please note: You may not be able to see other posts in this forum because only the poster and Senior Staff can see them, however, don't allow that to deter you from posting, the forum is actually in use!

This is a non-judgemental place to ask honest questions and to grow in your pursuit & understanding of the grace of God!
Point of Grace :
If you need prayer, or if you want to share about something which God has already done for you, or if you need some support in your christian life, then heres the place for it!! ... Please keep any heavier christian threads within this forum! :)
Inspirations :
For meditations, inspiring testimonies, bible studies or whatever else fits!!
Affirmations :
Replacing those negative thoughts and lifestyles with positives is a challenge for all survivors! This forum is the place to work on them together!

A trigger forum to discuss the effects of spiritual abuse, and to gain support from people who understand.
